Position Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Land Referencing Technical Lead to support the ongoing expansion of our Land Assembly team. This role involves leading and managing a team with significant expertise in TWAO, CPO, and DCO projects while overseeing financial management to meet and surpass budgetary goals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's reputation within the land referencing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing comprehensive project plans and allocating resources effectively.
  • Overseeing daily operations and coordination of technical land referencing tasks.
  • Ensuring that client purchase orders are established and that any variations are properly authorized and tracked.
  • Delivering expert advice and management services to a diverse range of clients in the property sector.
  • Guaranteeing that technical teams fulfill their commitments on schedule and within budget.
  • Enhancing team performance through ongoing management and support.
  • Identifying and addressing training and development needs for team members.
  • Creating resource, scope, and cost estimates to facilitate commercial tender submissions.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Land Referencing, ideally with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. A solid understanding of planning and compulsory purchase legislation is essential, along with familiarity with GIS for digitizing title plans and a basic understanding of database systems for generating statutory notices and reference books.

Knowledge of the Planning Act and relevant land referencing regulations is advantageous, as is a strong commercial acumen, including finance and technical project management skills.
