Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Land Referencing Technical Lead to bolster the growth of our Land Assembly team. This role involves leading and managing a team with extensive experience in TWAO, CPO, and DCO, while overseeing financial management to meet and surpass budgetary goals. The successful candidate will enhance the company's reputation within the land referencing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing comprehensive project plans and allocating resources effectively.
- Overseeing daily operations and coordination of technical land referencing activities.
- Ensuring that client purchase orders are established and that any variations are duly authorized and tracked.
- Delivering expert advice and management for a diverse range of clients in the property sector.
- Guaranteeing timely and budget-compliant completion of tasks by technical teams.
- Fostering team performance through ongoing management and support.
- Assessing and planning the training and development needs of team members.
- Generating resource, scope, and cost estimates to facilitate commercial tender submissions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Land Referencing, ideally with experience in significant infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. A solid understanding of planning and compulsory purchase legislation is essential, along with proficiency in GIS for digitizing title plans. Familiarity with database systems for generating statutory notices and reference books is also crucial.
A comprehensive understanding of the Planning Act and relevant land referencing regulations is highly advantageous. Strong commercial acumen, particularly in finance and technical project management, is expected.
