Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Land Referencing Technical Lead to enhance the capabilities of our Land Assembly team. This role involves leading a proficient team with extensive experience in TWAO, CPO, and DCO projects, while also managing financial aspects to meet and surpass budget expectations. Your leadership will play a crucial role in elevating the company's profile within the land referencing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing comprehensive project plans and allocating resources effectively.
- Overseeing daily operations and coordination of technical land referencing tasks.
- Ensuring client purchase orders are established and that any variations are duly authorized and tracked.
- Delivering expert advice and management for a diverse range of clients in the property sector.
- Guaranteeing that technical teams fulfill their commitments within the agreed timelines and budget constraints.
- Enhancing team performance through ongoing support and management.
- Identifying and addressing training and development needs within the team.
- Generating resource, scope, and cost estimates to facilitate commercial tender submissions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Land Referencing, with a preference for experience in significant infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. A solid understanding of planning and compulsory purchase legislation is essential, along with familiarity in GIS for the digitization of title plans. Knowledge of database systems for generating statutory notices and reference books is also beneficial.
Familiarity with the Planning Act and its associated land referencing regulations is advantageous, as is a strong commercial acumen, including finance and technical project management skills.
