We are seeking a seasoned Land Referencing Technical Lead to support the ongoing expansion of the firm's Land Assembly team. This role involves effective leadership and management of a team with significant experience in TWAO, CPO, and DCO, as well as overseeing financial management to meet and surpass budget expectations, thereby enhancing the company's reputation in this sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing project plans and allocating resources for work packages.
- Overseeing daily operations and coordinating technical land referencing activities.
- Ensuring client purchase orders are established and that variation orders are properly authorized and tracked.
- Delivering sound advice and effective management for a diverse range of property industry and private clients.
- Guaranteeing that technical teams complete projects within the agreed timelines and budgets.
- Enhancing team performance through ongoing management and guidance.
- Assessing and planning training and development needs for team members.
- Generating resource, scope, and cost estimates to support commercial tender submissions.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive skills in Land Referencing and ideally have experience working on significant infrastructure projects as part of multidisciplinary teams. A comprehensive understanding of planning and compulsory purchase legislation, along with familiarity with GIS for digitizing title plans, and knowledge of database systems for generating statutory notices and books of reference, are essential for this position.
Familiarity with the Planning Act and relevant land referencing regulations would be advantageous, as would a strong commercial acumen, including finance and technical project management.
