Key Qualities We Seek:

As a Night Receptionist, you will assist the Night Manager and Hotel Manager Nights in ensuring guests receive exceptional service while also maintaining the security and integrity of the hotel property throughout the night.

We require candidates to possess a solid understanding of Front Office procedures, ideally with experience in Opera Cloud, and to efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a Front of House Reception role within a reputable 5* hotel.
  • Understanding of the significance of impeccable guest service and the ability to deliver it.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to remain composed under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for spotting errors.

Main Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized service to guests and fostering strong relationships to ensure loyalty and future bookings.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the Front of House Reception during the night shift.
  • Conducting prompt and courteous check-in and check-out procedures while coordinating with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security Departments as necessary.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Collaborating with the Night Manager and Hotel Manager Nights to conduct the night audit and report any discrepancies.
  • Assisting guests with recommendations and directing them to the restaurant in the absence of the Concierge.
  • Managing reservations in the absence of the Reservations Department.
  • Addressing guest requests and ensuring proper communication with relevant departments.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and the local area.
  • Facilitating client taxi requests.
  • Reporting maintenance, cleanliness, or breakage issues to the appropriate department.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Night Manager and Hotel Manager Nights.
