Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Housing Maintenance Coordinator for a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on client needs. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV for consideration.

Compensation: £22.76 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess repair needs, generate orders through IT systems for contractors, and schedule appointments.
  • Demonstrated experience in a contact center handling a high volume of calls to meet performance targets.
  • Proficient in managing phone inquiries with professionalism, courtesy, sensitivity, and efficiency, ensuring high standards of customer service while adapting communication methods to suit customer needs.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments, agencies, and contractors.
  • Collaborate proactively with team members to enhance customer service delivery and conduct outbound calls as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of key issues impacting social housing.
  • ITQ2 or equivalent proficiency in Information Technology.
  • Experience in all facets of building maintenance and repairs within a dynamic environment.

Additional Information:

  • Availability for immediate work or at short notice is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
  • This position necessitates an enhanced DBS check.
