Job Overview

The Royal Marsden is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in our Chemotherapy Suite. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with a wide range of cancers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Appointments, scheduling, and capacity management to ensure efficient use of resources and meet Cancer Waiting Times targets.
  • Liaise directly with patients regarding their treatment, providing information and reassurance, and managing patient expectations around the chemotherapy experience.
  • Liaise with clinical teams and nursing staff to prioritize the scheduling of new referrals.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a chemotherapy setting.
  • Office management and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
Person Specification
  • GCSE level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • ELC (European Computer Driving Licence) or equivalent.
  • NVQ Customer Care.
