Fire Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our team in the South/South East region. As a key member of our Corporate Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Attend meetings and audits with Fire Safety Authorities to discuss and challenge outcomes.
- Support the group-wide assurance on CDM and Building Safety compliance, liaising with external agencies as required.
- Complete FRA's, FRA Audits, and other necessary audits as required.
- Provide advice, guidance, and support on health and safety-related issues, primarily fire safety, and deliver Health and Safety training to staff as needed.
- Assist in reviewing and reporting on Health & Safety Compliance across the organisation.
- Liaise with internal customers and external agencies, attending Health & Safety Committees as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Qualified and competent to undertake Fire Risk Assessments and Inspections of occupied buildings, with sound knowledge of Fire Safety Regulation, best practice, and latest industry standards.
- Willing and able to travel.
- Knowledge and understanding of current health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Experience of effectively delivering and monitoring H&S activity across a multi-site organisation.
