Job Summary:

Cento is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our fire alarm systems, Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), and emergency lighting in our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting to ensure they are operational and compliant with industry standards.
  • Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and rectify faults across fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lights, ensuring systems are operational and compliant with industry standards.
  • Client Liaison: Engage with our clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and provide professional service.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines, promoting safe working practices at all times.
  • Reactive & Planned Work: Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer, particularly within social housing and local authority sectors.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, including FIA certification, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license.
