To enhance our finance department, we are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner. Collaborating closely with our UK Finance Director, you will assist in shaping financial strategies and implementing best practices, while effectively utilizing data and analysis.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering strategic insights and financial recommendations as a Finance Partner, with a strong commercial perspective.
  • Assisting the Finance Director and UK Senior Leadership team on various financial and data-related matters.
  • Facilitating essential tasks for the UK Finance Director, such as Month & Year-end reporting, Forecasting & Budgeting, and tracking key performance indicators.
  • Developing and refining insights through reporting in close partnership with the business.
  • Analyzing data to promote operational excellence within the UK operations.
  • Maximizing the value of internally generated data.
  • Contributing significantly to the Finance team across the broader COWI International Business.

Additionally, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in management accounting, business control, analysis, or a related field.
  • Ideally, a relevant accounting or business analytical qualification (such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with essential accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Preferably, experience with Maconomy, Jedox, and Power BI.
