Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Director to join our team at IAC Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate alignment between Engineering BOM, TCe/PDM database System & CAD Models/Physical parts dependent on project phase.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team of BOM Engineers
    • Manage a team of BOM Engineers to ensure the creation and maintenance of accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for parts in development.
    • Oversee the generation of IAC part numbers and colour codes which align with the Customer Part Numbers.
    • Ensure the upload and maintenance of BOM on TCe/PDM system to allow parts to be issued for RFQ and for sourcing accurately and robustly.
  • Audit and Maintain BOMs
    • Lead the audit of Engineering BOMs vs CAD BOM vs actual build, noting significant errors that may result in shortages or cost discrepancies.
    • Communicate and update Engineering BOMs as required.
    • Maintain BOMs to capture engineering changes, procurement or supplier changes, general updates, BoM maturity etc.
  • Facilitate Change Management Meetings
    • Facilitate weekly Change Management Meetings (CMM), liaising with full team to effect changes into BOM once approved.
    • Issue robust minutes to support close out of actions.
    • Escalate open actions which have not been completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure RFQ and ECNs are Loaded
    • Ensure RFQ and ECNs are loaded with accurate documentation.
  • Populate TCe/PDM ECNs
    • Raise and populate TCe/PDM ECNs with Engineering Direction to adequately convey any drawing revisions and / or updates to CAD Team.
    • Answer any queries and oversee to ensure completion in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with Team Members
    • Liaise with and provide support to all team members on a variety of subjects on which you will be key fact holder.
    • Provide support as required to various members of the team.
  • Implement IAC Release Management Processes
    • Ensure that IAC release management processes are implemented robustly throughout EU Locations.
  • Induction and Training
    • Be the point of contact for New Starters and deliver induction and comprehensive training and guidance to delivering the above functions.
  • Audit Reviews
    • Conduct regular audit reviews of IAC and Customer Release Management Procedures to ensure IAC remains in line with global expectations.
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree / HNC standard in an Engineering or commercial discipline or with significant demonstrable relevant practical experience.
  • Computer literate with good understanding of MS Office, in particular Excel.
  • Possess good communication skills, oral and written, enabling them to interact with a wide variety of team members of various levels of the company hierarchy.
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience of working or willingness to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
