About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our People Directorate, you will play a critical role in driving transformational change and delivering organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive projects forward to reach their agreed outputs by providing support to operational teams where appropriate.
  • Use your own initiative to spot opportunities and creatively execute a plan to see it through to completion on time and with impact.
  • Ensure each programme of work future proofs services to deliver organisational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach on all elements of the People strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Project management qualification/experience.
  • Evidence of continuous personal development.

  • Change management qualification.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of being a budget holder or responsible for budget oversight for a research project.
  • Negotiation, coaching, facilitation, and leadership skills.
