Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Clinical Psychologist to become a vital part of our esteemed organization, Pennine Care NHS FT. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the chance to provide highly specialized psychological services to adults facing complex psychological challenges, including behavioral issues, autism, and high-risk situations. The role is crucial in fostering a psychologically informed workforce and collaborating within a multidisciplinary health and social care team. Our service is designed to prevent hospital admissions by offering a supportive environment for individuals in crisis.

The Lead Clinical Psychologist will:

  • Contribute to the development of a psychologically aware workforce.
  • Engage in clinical supervision and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in service development, audits, and research initiatives.
  • Work closely with individuals with lived experiences to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology, accredited by the relevant professional body.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing psychological services to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Experience in clinical leadership and supervision.
