Deputy Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Clinical Lead/Deputy Ward Manager at Pennine Care NHS FT. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, leading a team of healthcare professionals and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the needs of patients and develop effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Trust objectives and national guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and staff experience.
- Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
- First-level registration as an RMN/RNMH.
- Experience of working in older people's acute mental health settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work across the 24-hour shift pattern, including day and night shifts.
- Knowledge of current policy and guidance in relation to the development of acute mental health services.
