About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychological therapists, working closely with the Secondary Care Psychology pathway lead and peers across the Pennine Care footprint.

The Clinical Lead will be responsible for the provision of specialist expertise with complex and/or challenging cases within the secondary care adult Psychological Therapies Service. They will work with the clinical lead for the adult mental health secondary care pathway and the borough leadership group to ensure robust and effective care for service users who present with complex and/or severe mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychological therapists
  • Work closely with the Secondary Care Psychology pathway lead and peers across the Pennine Care footprint
  • Provide specialist expertise with complex and/or challenging cases within the secondary care adult Psychological Therapies Service
  • Work with the clinical lead for the adult mental health secondary care pathway and the borough leadership group to ensure robust and effective care for service users
Requirements
  • Doctorate level training in clinical or counselling psychology
  • Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist
  • Additional further training and qualifications in a range of therapeutic models
  • Experience of working as a qualified psychologist, particularly in a leadership role
