Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Principal Psychologist to lead our Clinical Team in Bury. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to our team, working closely with the Clinical Lead for Adult Mental Health and the Borough Leadership Group.

Main Duties

  • Provision of specialist expertise with complex and challenging cases within the secondary care adult Psychological Therapies Service.
  • Work with the Clinical Lead for Adult Mental Health and the Borough Leadership Group to ensure robust and effective care for service users with complex and severe mental health needs.
  • Contribute to the development of effective psychological care with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Doctorate level training in clinical or counselling psychology.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
  • Experience of working as a highly specialist psychologist with complex adults.
