Clinical Psychologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to lead our team in Bury. As a Principal Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist expertise with complex and challenging cases within our secondary care adult Psychological Therapies Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the team, offering consultation, reflective practice, and the provision of trauma-informed care.
- Work closely with the clinical lead for the adult mental health secondary care pathway and the borough leadership group to ensure robust and effective care for service users with complex and severe mental health needs.
- Contribute to the development of effective psychological care with the multidisciplinary team, including the provision of consultation, support, and clinical supervision.
- Support the Community Transformation programme, embedding new psychological practitioner roles and meeting the ambitions of the 'Psychological Therapies for Severe Mental Health Problems' (PT-SMHP) NHS-E paper.

Requirements- Doctorate level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including specific models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, and lifespan developmental psychology.
- Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
- Additional further training and qualifications in a range of therapeutic models, including CAT, EMDR, and psycho-analytic therapies.
- Experience of working as a qualified psychologist, with significant experience of working with complex adults and service users who are challenging within a community and acute care pathway.
