Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of effective psychological services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Qualified Psychologists in the delivery and evaluation of services that meet Cygnet's Healthcare objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements, and user and carer needs and expectations.
- Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments, standardized risk assessments, clinical formulation, and supervised individual and group interventions.
- Support the development and implementation of treatment plans that promote the mental health and wellbeing of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Participate in clinical supervision and training to enhance professional development and skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within in-patient mental health services and settings is essential.
- At least 6 months previous experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist and delivering 1:1 therapeutic work and group therapy sessions is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS check and reference checks will be required.
