Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical psychology/neuropsychologically-informed assessments, formulations, and interventions for individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injury.
Main Duties- Provide training to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement evidence-based, inclusive clinical neuropsychology services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care to patients in the HMR Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) and the Bury Integrated Team (CSNRT).
Person Specification- DClinPsy qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- PGDip Neuropsychology - 1 year completed.
- Additional academic qualification (e.g., diploma, research MSc, PhD).
- Previous experience of work in a neuropsychology service.
- Neuropsychological assessments.
- Cognitive interventions.
- Applying therapy in neurological populations.
- Mental capacity assessments.
- Adapting communication.
- Assessment and therapy with complex mental health conditions.
- Previous experience of patients undergoing rehabilitation and exhibiting challenging behaviour.
- Previous experience of providing clinical supervision for Assistant Psychologists or Students.
- Prior experience of service development.
- Prior experience of research activity.
- Previous experience of work within a specialist epilepsy or functional neurological conditions service.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
