Exciting Opportunity for Mental Health Professionals

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking dedicated mental health professionals to enhance our Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) pathway. This role is pivotal in facilitating the transition of individuals from Level 2 care back into the community, utilizing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices while effectively managing risks in a community environment.

Our approach is centered on innovative methodologies aimed at supporting individuals who have experienced prolonged hospital stays, with the goal of significantly improving their outcomes. We are dedicated to ongoing enhancement and responsiveness to the evolving needs of our service users.

** Male Applicants Preferred Due to Service Requirements **

To maintain gender balance and align with service user preferences, we are currently prioritizing male candidates for this position. The nature of our CEN pathway necessitates male mental health practitioners to appropriately address clinical risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate care within the Complex Emotional Needs pathway

- Assist individuals in overcoming discharge barriers and evaluating rehabilitation requirements

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in cross-agency partnerships

- Deliver therapeutic interventions that foster hope and positivity
