About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and client-oriented Assistant Director of Finance to enhance our remarkable Finance team at Pan Pacific London. The ideal candidate will exhibit confidence, empathy, and professionalism in interactions with guests, clients, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Director of Finance, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Assisting the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel and supervising the work of section heads, including general ledger, credit control, fixed assets, cashiering, and income audit.
  • Preparing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations as required by the Corporate Office and management in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all hotel collections are accurately accounted for and that all sales receipts are deposited into bank accounts in accordance with established policies.
  • Monitoring the hotel’s cash flow and taking necessary actions as needed.
  • Keeping operational accounting for the hotel current.
  • Overseeing hotel expenses to ensure they remain within budget and notifying relevant management for necessary follow-up actions.
  • Submitting VAT, PAYE, and pension contributions regularly, with reviews conducted by the Director of Finance.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate and local standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations.

Essential Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a passion for team development.
  • Prior experience in a fully self-accounting property.
  • A solid understanding of SAP.
