ROLE SUMMARY
The (Senior) Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the Company's financial operations, particularly overseeing the UK and EU payment processes.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports directly to the Group CFO, with an additional reporting line to the UK Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Company's financial accounting functions, which include bookkeeping, reconciliation, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits.
- Oversee the finance and payment operations for the UK and EU, focusing on treasury management, banking relationships, and operational quality assurance.
- Develop and uphold financial policies and procedures that align with best practices.
- Support the UK and EU Directors in the financial planning and budgeting activities of the organization.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to guide management decisions.
- Collaborate with Authorized Managers to oversee cash flow and liquidity management.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and other pertinent laws.
- Prepare and/or supervise the creation of necessary financial statements and reports.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial experts.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop the Finance & Payments team, establishing performance goals and offering mentorship.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in the payment services sector.
- A minimum of 1 year in a managerial capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
