ROLE SUMMARY

The (Senior) Finance Manager is tasked with ensuring the integrity of the Company's financial accounting and overseeing payment operations in the UK and EU.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This role reports directly to the Group CFO, with a secondary reporting line to the UK Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Company's financial accounting functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, financial controls, tax compliance, and audit processes.
  • Oversee financial operations for the UK and EU, focusing on treasury management, banking relationships, operational quality assurance, incident resolution, and process automation.
  • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Support the UK and EU Directors in financial planning and budgeting initiatives.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to guide management decisions.
  • Collaborate with Authorized Managers to oversee cash flow and liquidity management.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the creation of necessary financial statements and reports.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial experts.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing financial processes and systems, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Lead and develop the Finance & Payments team, establishing performance goals and offering mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably within the payments sector.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
