About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and client-oriented Assistant Director of Finance to support our exceptional finance team. Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Finance, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations of the hotel and supervising the work of department heads, including general ledger, credit control, fixed assets, cashiering, and income auditing.
- Preparing monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations as required by corporate guidelines and management in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all hotel collections are accurately recorded and that sales receipts are deposited into bank accounts according to established policies.
- Monitoring the hotel’s cash flow and taking necessary actions as needed.
- Maintaining up-to-date operational accounting records for the hotel.
- Overseeing hotel expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and informing relevant management for necessary follow-up.
- Submitting VAT, PAYE, and pension contributions regularly, subject to review by the Director of Finance.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate and local standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations.

- Prior experience in a fully self-accounting property.
- A solid understanding of SAP software.
