PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the financial accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Supervise payment operations, focusing on treasury management and quality control.
- Develop and uphold financial policies to guide operational efficiency.
- Assist in financial planning and budgeting processes for the UK and EU divisions.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with management to optimize cash flow and liquidity.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Payments team, setting clear performance objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A graduate degree in finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in the payment services sector.
- Minimum of 1 year in a managerial capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
