Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Hairmyres. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing care needs, and developing programs of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care needs and develop programs of care
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet patient needs
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
