About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Hairmyres. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our registered nurses in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out care duties for patients, in support of a registered nurse, and work regularly with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment within the ward, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in the Personal Development Plan process to enhance your skills and knowledge, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements
  • SVQ III in healthcare or equivalent experience working in a caring environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
