About the Role:

Viqu Energy Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Commercial Manager to join our thriving commercial team. As a Key Account Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic partners, driving financial growth through contract renewals and upselling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex tenders from enquiry to deal acceptance, ensuring efficient handling of bids to secure contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with the Trading Desk to determine optimal pricing and deal structures, tailoring solutions to meet key account needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and exploring new product offerings to drive financial growth.
  • Stay updated on market trends, acting as an industry expert for customers and driving innovation in our customer offerings.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, providing insights and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in key account management and commercial negotiations within the UK Energy sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confident, and persuasive with a collaborative mindset.
  • Results-oriented, ambitious, and detail-focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Adaptable and innovative with a customer-centric approach.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience).
