Position Overview

The role of the Wealth Management Solutions Consultant is pivotal in delivering tailored financial guidance to affluent clients with annual revenues ranging from $100,000 to $5 million. This position involves understanding client needs, fostering relationships, and crafting investment strategies that align with both current and prospective client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer customized financial advice through comprehensive reviews and presentations, assessing clients' financial aspirations and recommending suitable investment strategies.
  • Present solutions that cater to clients' financial requirements, including core banking services and Investment & Life PriorityTM offerings.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisor teams to enhance their networks by sharing market insights and discussing new product offerings.
  • Utilize the extensive resources available within the bank to benefit clients and prospects effectively.
  • Build and maintain a robust client portfolio to meet and exceed established financial targets, facilitating career progression within the advisory framework.
  • Prioritize client inquiries and connect them with appropriate internal service providers based on their specific needs and asset levels.

Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

As a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship designed to cultivate your skills as an independent financial advisor. This role provides the opportunity to engage with both affluent and high-net-worth clients, identifying their needs and formulating investment recommendations that align with their financial goals. You will develop essential relationship management skills necessary for success in an Elite Growth Practice (EGP).

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess Series 7 and 65 licenses (or 66 in lieu of 65).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with a proven track record of meeting goals.
  • At least one year of experience in the investment sector, with a solid understanding of investment products and services.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clients confidently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven success in lead generation and client development.
  • Experience in balancing investment management and sales activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) are advantageous.
