Exciting Opportunity for a Part-Time IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic IT team as a Part-Time IT Support Specialist, working 20 hours per week. This role involves collaborating with both office-based and remote IT support professionals.

Role Overview:

The primary focus of this position is to deliver exceptional IT support services to our organization and its clients, particularly in the realms of incident management and service request fulfillment.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides IT service support primarily for businesses across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to service requests and incidents by accurately documenting and logging information from various channels including phone, email, and web portal.
  • Process minor change requests and assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures as part of the broader team.
  • Support the problem management process and contribute to root cause analysis for recurring and high-severity incidents.
  • Provide first-line support for various business systems, including mobile devices and remote access, escalating issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining the organization’s desktop and laptop hardware environment.
  • Participate in daily workflow activities and communicate effectively with staff and external clients.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong technical knowledge gained from experience in IT support roles.
  • Excellent customer service skills, capable of engaging with clients at all levels.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies (e.g., Google, Windows, Cloud, Linux, Android).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven track record of managing time effectively.
  • Experience in delivering IT support across various levels of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service operation processes is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for screening and vetting processes. This may include identification documents and proof of residence.

Please note that this role requires specific security clearance, necessitating a continuous residency in the country for a defined period.
