About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Caseworker to join our team at Victim Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to victims of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a caseload of service users affected by domestic abuse, delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of each client, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to addressing safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families affected by domestic abuse.
  • Understanding and knowledge of promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices.
  • Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
