Caseworker - Domestic Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caseworker - Domestic Abuse Specialist to join our team at Victim Support. As a key member of our Domestic Abuse team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Effectively manage a caseload of service users affected by domestic abuse, delivering high-quality support services that meet their individual needs.
- Conduct thorough risk and needs assessments to identify the specific needs of each client, ensuring that their rights are upheld and their safety is prioritized.
- Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate the criminal justice process, ensuring that their voices are heard and their rights are respected.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to addressing domestic abuse.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families affected by domestic abuse.
- Understanding and knowledge of promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, and diversity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with service users.
