Caseworker - Domestic Abuse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our Domestic Abuse team in London. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support to victims of domestic abuse, helping them navigate the complex criminal justice system and access the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of service users affected by domestic abuse, delivering high-quality support and services that meet their individual needs.
- Undertake risk and needs assessments to identify and address the specific needs of each client, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate the criminal justice process and access relevant support services.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to supporting victims of domestic abuse.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families affected by domestic abuse.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work, and manage competing demands and interests.
- Good IT and administrative skills, including the use of Microsoft Office packages.
- High resilience and ability to work under pressure.
