The Youth Support Advisor will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support and guidance to young individuals transitioning from care to independent living.

Main Responsibilities

As a Youth Support Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and supporting a designated caseload of young individuals aged 16 and above who are eligible for support services.
  • Coordinating and delivering practical, emotional, social, and financial guidance to facilitate a successful transition to adulthood and foster independence.
  • Building effective relationships with young individuals to encourage their engagement in education, training, and employment opportunities.
  • Assisting care leavers in managing their finances, securing appropriate housing, and developing the emotional resilience and skills necessary for independent living.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with young individuals aged 16 and above who are eligible for support services.
  • Possession of a full enhanced DBS.
