About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Health Care Specialist. As a key member of our 0-19 team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the National Child Measurement Programmes (NCMP) and vision screening programmes to primary schools within a specified area.
  • Work in partnership with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and statutory and voluntary services to facilitate health-enhancing activities and improve health outcomes.
  • Develop, participate, and maintain interagency networks to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and lone working policies to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
Requirements
  • GCSE pass in Math's and English.
  • NVQ2 in business administration or equivalent office/administration experience.
  • IT skills, including the use of Microsoft office packages and data spreadsheets.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to use initiative and work alone in a variety of settings.
