Youth Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner - Early Intervention Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people and schools in Oxfordshire, providing early intervention and support for mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of evidence-based services and specialist programs for the care group, specifically in relation to delivering the in-reach program in schools.
- Integrate the mental health agenda and community resilience within the schools identified per worker and within the remit of the CAMHS contract.
- Deliver training, supervision, consultation, and support in schools to which the worker is the key link, and develop a robust approach to building community resilience regarding mental wellbeing and early identification of mental health concerns.
- Mental Health or equivalent professional health qualification - Occupational Therapist, Nurse, or Social Worker.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding risk assessment.
- Ability to organize own time and manage workload and that of junior staff/learners, in relation to service needs and priorities.
- Clinically relevant knowledge acquired through post-qualifying training.
- Post-qualification experience in a mental health setting, working with young people or adults with mental health difficulties.
- Experience of facilitating group work/training.
