RSM's Consulting team plays a vital role in driving the growth of the firm, with over 1,800 professionals delivering £200m in revenue. Our Consulting solutions cater to the needs of current and future clients, providing client-centric solutions.

Job Purpose

This role will work collaboratively with the Consulting marketing team to deliver a cohesive approach to our client solutions. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing the national marketing and communications strategy for Consulting's Finance Function Support solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the growth strategy for Finance Function Support, working closely with multiple teams.
  • Collaborate across Consulting solutions to support the Consulting vision and strategy.
  • Deliver key marketing and communications activities, ensuring clear demonstration of return on investment.
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team to ensure industries and locations incorporate and effectively roll out national activity.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain a strong strategic relationship with the Head of Finance Function Support and department heads.
  • Support the Head of Finance Function Support with personal branding, messaging, and routes to market.
  • Develop strong relationships with technical and delivery teams to understand and support technical needs.
Campaigns and Communications
  • Originate, develop, and lead on related campaigns, ensuring consistent messages with strategy.
  • Own and maintain content for Finance Function Support on the website, optimizing page performance and engagement.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Project and Operations team to plan and deliver major campaigns.
  • Collaborate with industry marketing teams to create content and campaigns supporting solutions.
  • Work with demand generation to optimize campaigns and communications for opportunity generation.
  • Lead social media activity for Finance Function Support, developing and owning content and advising key commentators.
  • Identify and evaluate potential new marketing opportunities supporting targeting activity.
  • Monitor and report ROI from marketing activity to share successes and shape future plans.
Bids
  • Collaborate with the Bid team on best practice content for Finance Function Support.
  • Develop and maintain credentials, case studies, testimonials, and other material to support business development and lead generation.
Client Experience
  • Utilize client insight to shape future marketing campaigns and communications.
Other
  • Build internal and external networks and third-party relationships as appropriate.
  • Deliver work for other solutions and ad hoc projects as directed by the Head of Consulting Marketing.
Personal and Professional Qualities
  • A professional with strong marketing and business development experience, particularly in lead generation marketing and campaign management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • A professional, credible, and confident communicator with strong influencing skills.
  • Solid commercial understanding and experience.
  • Experience managing large projects and multiple relationships.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual.
  • Management of own workload with minimal supervision.
  • An active team player.
