As a facilitator, you will play a vital role in establishing a safe and welcoming space for individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for group members
  • Support group members in their recovery by encouraging shared learning and social networks
  • Work collaboratively with a volunteer co-facilitator to ensure the smooth operation of the service
  • Manage the service email inbox and database, including answering queries and processing referrals
  • Monitor the waiting list and maintain accurate records of member and service data

Requirements:

  • Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a volunteer co-facilitator
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
