Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our primary school support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Student Learning: Provide individualized support to students, including those with additional needs, to enhance their academic and personal growth.
  • Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and organized learning environment, promoting positive behavior and social skills.
  • Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and feedback about student progress.
  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver whole-class sessions and small intervention groups, including phonics sessions, to support student learning.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting student learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of the EYFS, KS1, and KS2 curriculum, with experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
