Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in East Lancashire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating the curriculum
  • Assist with the management of classroom behavior and provide individualized support to pupils
  • Develop and implement small group interventions to enhance pupil learning
  • Collaborate with teachers to meet the personal, social, and curriculum-related needs of pupils
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Good knowledge and confidence with the EYFS curriculum
  • Phonics experience and training highly desirable
