Job Summary:

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The successful candidate will provide temporary cover for PPA and absences across both Key Stages 1 and 2, working in a large primary school located in the North West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide temporary cover for PPA and absences across both Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and support their learning
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of the school

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
