Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience supporting children in a Primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children's education and development in a Primary school setting.
  • Communicate with families/carers to provide feedback about children.
  • Provide support to all children, including those with additional needs.
  • Deliver some whole class sessions, when covering a Class Teacher.
  • Deliver small intervention groups and Phonics sessions.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher and other professionals to enhance children's learning.
  • Assist with classroom management and use good behaviour management strategies.
  • Help to create a safe, fun and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years Teaching Assistant experience in a Primary School setting.
  • A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Excellent Safeguarding knowledge.
