Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a proven track record of delivering high-quality support in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with classroom management, using positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with families and carers to provide feedback on children's progress and involve them in their learning.
  • Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions to meet the needs of children with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and skills.
