Position Overview:

As a Patient Care Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clinical teams, nursing personnel, consultants, and diagnostic radiographers within our services. Your duties will encompass administrative responsibilities in the chemotherapy sector, delivering outstanding customer service, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Chemotherapy Administration

  • Register patients and establish online records
  • Secure necessary authorizations
  • Coordinate appointments and communicate any modifications
  • Support nursing staff with documentation
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team

Patient Care Support

  • Prepare treatment environments
  • Ensure cleanliness and infection control
  • Manage inventory
  • Assist patients with care and procedures
  • Monitor vital signs
  • Handle samples and dressings

General Duties

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
