About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Invision Recruitment Ltd. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of our projects and ensuring that our commercial activities are aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of our projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Commercial Activities: Oversee all commercial activities, including procurement, contract management, and dispute resolution.
- Team Management: Manage a team of quantity surveyors and ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Project Management: Lead the project management process, including project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, and develop strategies to achieve these goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: Significant experience of working on complex build projects in excess of £100m, with experience of managing a team of quantity surveyors.
- Education: Degree level (or qualified by experience) within the industry, with post-graduate qualifications in a relevant specialism.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
