Marketing Support Specialist

About the Role:
Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant in the Business Development team based in our Esher office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the functions of the Senior Marketing Manager with corporate marketing and promotion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sitting within the Business Development Group to deliver its responsibilities and objectives across all international regions.
- Supporting the development of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company's services.
- Interfaces with senior staff across the business to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Work on internal and external promotional events to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Production of marketing literature, including capability statements, brochures, promotional material and advertisements.
- Preparing web content for our external platforms and intranet.
- Secondary responsibilities will be to support other BD Group team members.
Required Skills:
- The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with teams in a diverse range of forums and environments.
- Possess a sound knowledge of marketing and promotional activities.
- Excellent organisation skills to deal with multiple activities simultaneously.
- Ability to meet defined deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to input creatively into marketing initiatives.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a business development team in the UK and international regions.
- To present a positive image internally across the business.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and 365.
- Willingness to work flexibly to ensure workload is managed effectively.
- Willingness to look for better ways of working whilst considering best practice processes.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite especially Indesign.
- Experience of client management systems or other pursuit management systems and processes.
- An appreciation of digital and social media marketing.
- Experience in creating digital media.
- Working knowledge of HTML coding and web-design, Wordpress in particular.
Qualifications:
- Marketing or related Degree achieved at University.
- Other non degree related qualifications will also be considered.
