Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing the Reactor Plant construction and commissioning delivery program through innovative engineering strategies and effective problem-solving.
- Ensuring adherence to Reactor Plant design specifications throughout the construction and commissioning stages.
- Supporting the evaluation of design modifications and assessing plant readiness for subsequent construction phases.
- Providing technically sound critiques of existing requirements.
- Preparing and delivering reports to convey nuclear-related matters to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with Ministry of Defence authorities, Naval Authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements and receive necessary certifications.
- Leading the assessment and resolution of complex inter-domain or inter-functional challenges identified during the final design closure, through modifications or during construction/commissioning.
- Granting technical approval for team outputs.
- Acting as RTG and PAG representative.
- Managing WBTA Letter of Delegation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or Physical Science (Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics).
- Familiarity with the nuclear sector and Nuclear Regulations.
- Previous experience in Engineering Lifecycle and Nuclear plant operations.
Desirable Skills:
- Proven ability in technical report writing.
- Strong presentation skills.

The Nuclear Engineering Department is expanding to meet the increasing demand for Nuclear Engineering within the business as we undertake significant challenges in delivering various classes of Naval Reactor Plants. The team engages in activities ranging from design safety assurance to engineering problem-solving and innovative improvement projects throughout the Engineering Lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on the construction and commissioning of the reactor plant.
