Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) focused on specific areas of the project, ensuring delivery aligns with Safety, Quality, Time, and Cost objectives.
  • Assemble a diverse team with complementary skills and experiences.
  • Collaborate with Area Delivery Teams to define the scope of work for contracts.
  • Clarify priorities for the L4 schedule to support site installation and guide the overall Programme direction.
  • Coordinate with other Programmes (Civils, Equipment, Commissioning) to meet interface milestones that support the project schedule.
  • Develop relevant Task Orders for the MEH Installation Contract and maintain the Master Data and Assumption Log (MDAL).
  • Work alongside the MEH Area Construction Lead to ensure pre-construction readiness, including design, materials, and temporary works.
  • Facilitate the resolution of Field Changes, Non-Conformances, Requests for Information, and other delivery constraints.
  • Conduct monthly Project Reviews and Performance Analyses for the designated area.
  • Oversee all Contract Administration through CEMAR, including Task Orders, query resolution, and ensuring timely discharge of Client obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with HPC Project Governance, including managing Change Control processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in delivering projects within complex and dynamic environments, prioritizing safety, security, and environmental responsibility, preferably in the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated fields.
  • Experience in managing and developing engineering design, contract execution strategies, and multi-discipline EPCM projects.
  • Strong leadership capabilities in project management, financial oversight, and change management.
  • Experience managing contractors and consultants in large-scale construction projects within regulated environments, including familiarity with NEC and FIDIC contracts.
  • Understanding of EPR design and construction is a plus.
  • A degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, physics, or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Familiarity with Project Management methodologies, including APM and OGC's Prince 2.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects throughout their lifecycle from conception to handover.
  • Understanding of nuclear quality assurance and control processes.
  • Ability to apply a graded approach to quality assurance.

Note: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
