Your Role

We are looking for a proficient Legal Technology Educator with a strong background in Case Management and Document Management Systems to become a part of our Next Generation Matter Management initiative.

As a Legal Technology Educator, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement training programs that enable our team members to effectively utilize our proprietary Peppermint Matter Management system, which is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology. This will enhance efficiency and align with the firm’s strategic objectives.

Your contribution will be crucial in fostering the successful integration of our new Matter Management solutions within the organization, promoting optimal use of our investment in technology by equipping colleagues to utilize the tools effectively to streamline case management processes and document handling.

Key Responsibilities

Support the agile deployment and implementation of the Peppermint Matter Management system, ensuring comprehensive training for all team members. Design and deliver innovative technology training sessions, facilitating understanding and adoption to assist with ongoing releases and the introduction of new functionalities. Develop educational materials using diverse methodologies, including but not limited to: workshops (both virtual and in-person), group coaching, e-learning modules, video content, and written resources tailored to the needs of our legal professionals. Create and maintain comprehensive training documentation, user manuals, guides, and other reference materials. Collaborate with project teams and legal professionals, engaging in regular meetings to identify training needs and assess the effectiveness of training outcomes. Provide individualized and group coaching to colleagues on system features and best practices. Stay informed about the latest advancements in legal technology to enhance training offerings. Conduct assessments to evaluate the impact of training initiatives, using findings to refine and improve programs.

About You

Demonstrated experience as a Technology or IT Trainer, with a strong background in classroom, virtual, e-learning, and one-on-one training. Proven involvement in broader organizational projects, with the ability to recognize challenges and requirements. Capability to evaluate training needs and perform gap analyses. Experience in crafting training materials and delivering engaging training sessions. Proficient in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) methodologies. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience in stakeholder analysis and management, with the ability to navigate relationships at all organizational levels. Innovative and creative problem-solving abilities. Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and applications within Microsoft Office 365. Familiarity with working in a regulated environment is advantageous. Willingness to adapt to changing requirements and travel as necessary.
