The specialist will oversee a vital segment of the solutions portfolio, advocating for their designated solutions to ensure they provide transformative value.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Directing the design, development, and execution of comprehensive, innovative technology solutions.
  • Formulating and implementing the legal technology strategy.
  • Engaging in industry events to showcase the firm's accomplishments in legal technology.
  • Promoting the uptake of solutions and diagnosing reasons for inadequate adoption.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and support strategy for internally developed solutions within a specific segment of the portfolio.
  • Leading pilot programs to evaluate new solutions.
  • Assisting in the negotiation and management of vendor contracts.
  • Monitoring product quality from vendors and addressing any issues.
  • Owning the strategic roadmap for solutions within a designated segment of the portfolio.
  • Managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful solution adoption.
  • Identifying and engaging with vendors that could enhance the capabilities of a specific segment of the solutions portfolio.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive proficiency and experience in utilizing the Microsoft PowerPlatform and other relevant technologies, including document automation, contract lifecycle management, artificial intelligence, e-discovery, knowledge management, and data analytics.
  • A demonstrated history of leading and managing successful technology projects and initiatives from conception through implementation and evaluation.
  • Strong background in legal technology, innovation, or digital transformation, ideally within a law firm, legal technology provider, or technology consulting environment.
  • A passionate vision regarding the role and influence of technology in the legal sector, with the ability to advocate effectively for diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of a specific area within the legal technology landscape, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management, or artificial intelligence.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. It is essential to identify and implement innovative and effective technology solutions for the firm and its clients.
